Kushal Purie

I currently live with my young family in San Francisco; 50 states, 30 odd countries and 5 continents later.

I am fascinated by the human condition. The propensity for daring feats amidst the fear of irrelevance, the range of experiences, the contradictions and the beauty.

By profession, I am drawn towards solving wicked problems. The ones in regulated, high-stakes, rapidly evolving environments.

Arresting Columbia

Reflecting on my travels across the US and what it means to be an American today, I wrote a book about America's evolving story and people who inspire us.

The Publication

A tactile exploration of modern solitude. This hardcover edition gathers eighty-four prose fragments alongside sixty original black-and-white photographs, bound in coarse linen.

A Printed Record

A masterclass in quiet observation. Purie finds beauty in the margins of the everyday.
