In a past life, I worked in Geopolitics - supporting developing countries transition to functioning democracies, free market economies and digital transformation. In my free time, I enjoy writing and investing in public markets.

I live in San Francisco with my wife, books, and worn out hiking shoes. Before this basecamp, I traveled to all 50 states on buses, Amtrak, and planes, meeting people who struggle, rejoice and create in today’s America. These explorations laid the groundwork for my first book - Arresting Columbia.
